Alexa Prestash was selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week ending on 10/21/23. Alexa is primarily the Lady Warrior soccer team’s goalie. This week, she was not only on fire in the goalie box but also on the field. To start the three-game week, the team started with their ICC rival Northern Bedford County. Alexa started in the goalie box and ended the day with a shutout. The next day the Lady Warriors went up against Everett. Alexa was back in the goalie box for the first half of the game. During her time in the goalie box, Alexa had a save and another shutout. In the second half, Coach Angie took her out of the goalie spot and put her out on the field and she scored a goal and an assist. On Thursday, the team went up against Southern Huntingdon and Alexa had another assist and 2 saves to finish up her fantastic week. Coach Angie Fenush said,” Alexa is the hardest-working player. For a goalkeeper, she is very fast and skilled on the field.” She also said, ”She is constantly working to get better and always willing to do extra work.”
