Female Athlete of the Week: Brooke Bainey

Brooke Bainey has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 5/3/24. Brooke is one of six seniors on the Lady Warrior Softball team. She plays third base for the team. Brooke leads the team in stolen bases this year, having stolen 12 bases so far. According to Maxpreps, she has the second most stolen bases in the ICC Northern Conference. Bainey has a 0.340 batting average, steadily contributing to the Warriors’ winning season.

Senior teammate Mallory Graham says, “Brooke is the kind of player you want to be around. She’s such a good teammate and team player. I’m proud of Brooke and all her accomplishments this season, and seasons prior. I am thrilled to still be playing with Brooke and I will be saddened when it comes to an end.”
