Bella Koleno has been selected for the Warrior Watch Female Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on 11/02/2024. Koleno had a dominant run for the Warriors as they won their 3rd consecutive District 6 title as she had 9 kills in the first round against Bishop McCourt ,12 kills against Bishop Carroll, and 8 kills in the title game against Northern Cambria. Koleno has contributed all year for the Warriors. She has 184 kills and is second on the team in digs with 199. Koleno is also first on the team in serve percentage (93%). Her impact on the team is felt both on and off the court, as teammate Lexie Mulhollem explained: “She is positive off and on the court, which helps the team a lot.” That positivity extends to her play, with Mulhollem adding, “She doesn’t get in her head.” Koleno consistently maintains a positive mindset and a great attitude. She hopes to help the Warriors capture their first state title.
