Happy Homecoming, Warriors! With the big week quickly approaching, here are some key updates to know. Since the old gym is occupied with items from the elementary school, the homecoming dance will be held in the new gym.

Voting Information

This year’s homecoming court consists of six boys and six girls. The girls are Cassandra Alley, Bella Koleno, Emma Petrisky, Haley Woodling, Natalie Yingling, and Kyla Kephart. The boys are Keagen Dobo, Evan Emigh, Dylan McGonigal, Nick Parks, Coby Kephart, and Gavin Dunlap.

All students in grades 9–12 will be able to vote for the 2025 homecoming king and queen on Monday, September 15. Voting will remain open until Friday, September 19.

Planning and Theme

With Miss McClelland stepping down as student government advisor last year, Mrs. McGonigal has taken over the role. “I’m super excited for this year’s homecoming dance. The Student Government decided on a Roaring ’20s theme, so we went with a Glitz and Glam theme filled with blacks and golds,” said McGonigal. “I’m just happy to help our students celebrate Homecoming because it’s such a fun time of year filled with so much school spirit! And the dance will be a great time for everyone to get dressed up and create memories with your friends!” said Mrs. McGonigal.

Spirit Week

  • Monday: Beach/Hawaii Day – Dress up in your favorite beach-themed clothes for some fun under the sun!

  • Tuesday: Twin Day – Match outfits with your bestie!

  • Wednesday: Adam Sandler Day – Wear big, baggy T-shirts and loose shorts!

  • Thursday: Teacher/Student Swap – Dress up as your favorite teacher!

  • Friday: School Spirit/Red, White, and Blue – Show your Warrior pride by wearing red, white, and blue!

Homecoming Events

On Friday, September 19, the classic homecoming pep rally will take place at the end of the school day. Faculty, students, members of the court, and other volunteers will participate in fun games and activities during the assembly.

That’s just the start of the homecoming weekend! Next up is the homecoming football game, where the mighty Warriors will take on the Juniata Valley Hornets. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned during halftime.

Finally, the homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, September 20. We’re taking a trip back to the 1920s! This year’s homecoming theme is Glitz and Glam: Roaring ’20s.
