While the leaves fall and a chill comes into the air, it’s time to revamp your wardrobe! ‘Tis the season of cozy sweaters and Ugg boots. With that said, let’s dive into this year’s fall 2025 fashion trends.

This year, the color palette takes a turn to the dark side. Bold reds and dark blues are prominent with burgundies and shades of deep red and purple being especially popular. For a more neutral look, consider “caffeine-inspired neutrals,” which are exactly what they sound like. Think coffee tones in every shade of brown, along with soft, creamy tones.

If you like bold statement pieces, you’re in luck. This year, animal prints are available in various patterns, including leopard, zebra, snakeskin, and cow print. You can go all-in with head-to-toe patterns, full bold, dressed in print from head to toe, or for a simpler look, add it in as a single piece, such as a bag or shoes.

For bottoms, skip the skinny jeans and go for more relaxed cuts like mom jeans. This year, there is a strong presence of barrel-leg and wide-leg jeans. Dark wash will be more popular this year for the cooler months.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Bucha says, “During the fall, my favorite thing to wear is stretch pants from Aerie, with my mini Ugg boots and a comfortable cozy sweater. I like to wear this outfit because it’s not only comfortable but also fashionable during the chilly season. This fall season,” says Kaitlyn, “I am planning on wearing more jeans and jackets.”

2025 Fall fashion trends offer something for everyone, mixing comfort with cuteness. From cozy sweaters to vibrant prints and bold blues, there are countless ways to express your style while still rocking this year’s fall trends. Whether you’re styling animal prints this fall season or staying original with a flannel, everything you wear can be chic this fall.
