Owen Gibson has been selected for the Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 9, 2026.

Owen Gibson has been a steady presence for the Warrior track and field team, placing in multiple meets as a freshman. This past week, Gibson had the honor of being selected to compete at the District 6 Track and Field Championships in the 800-meter run as a freshman, making a great first-year impact. Gibson also placed second at the Philipsburg-Osceola meet in the high jump, clearing 5’4″.

Teammate Skyler Hebel commented on Owen Gibson’s performance this season: “He is a hardworking athlete who excels in the 800 run and qualified for districts as a freshman; he is always working hard at practice, running circuits, and practicing high jump.”
