Zaid Carr has been selected as the Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 10, 2026. The cross country team hosted Philipsburg-Osceola on Monday, October 5, where Carr delivered a podium performance. He finished first, winning by just half a second after a kick in the final 25 meters helped him hold off his opponent.

This marks Carr’s first varsity victory as a member of the cross country team, earned in his second year. This victory is an important milestone in his cross country career, showing his commitment to improving as a runner and his ability to compete through to the finish line.

Ashley Causer, junior teammate and multi-sport athlete, highlights Carr’s dedication and leadership on the team. Causer stated, “Zaid is a very dedicated runner. He is always pushing himself to PR and become a better runner. He is a good role model for the younger kids.”
