The #3 seeded Lady Warrior Volleyball team (21-3) looks to start a long playoff run in their opening round contest against #6 seeded, Homer Center (7-6) tonight at West Branch. The Lady Warriors bring a lot of momentum into tonight’s match as they are fresh off of yet another ICC championship season. This year’s seniors have won four consecutive ICC titles.
“It is really cool that we have been able to keep the winning tradition alive,” Senior Liz Moore said. “We think that we have a good chance to make a good run this postseason.”
The Lady Warriors are also looking to avenge a first-round exit from the District Tournament last season, a 3-2 loss to Cambria Heights.
The good news for the Lady Warriors, however, is that they have had an abundant amount of playoff success in the past. They won the District 6 tournament in 2014, and made it to the Semi-Finals in 2015 and 2016.
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7:00, with student entry costing $3 and adults costing $6.
