As the holiday spirit and Christmas joy roll in, the West Branch Student Government members begin the organizing and arranging of exciting Christmas fun, like Christmas competitions and elaborate holiday paintings. A tradition at West Branch is for the Student Government to beautifully decorate the lobby for Christmas. The members decorate, paint, and make the school’s lobby festive for the holidays. This year, about fifteen students from grades nine through twelve participated in the decorating on a Monday afternoon over break. Christmas trees, Hanukkah paintings, and beautifully decorated displays were created by West Branch Student Government members. This year Santa is coming down a chimney and the reindeer fly across the windows. The Student Government always hopes that the decorations are appreciated by the students and help the students get into the holiday mood.
