This year for activity days, Miss Johnson and Mrs. McGarvey began a new club, the Card Club.
Previously, in their former club, a few students showed interest in trying something new. Growing up, Miss Johnson enjoyed card games, so she thought this was perfect. The Card Club has been a success so far, and will continue to thrive.
There are 12 members in the club. Miss Johnson finds this convenient for separating into groups. The students are able to choose a game, such as UNO or Rummy, to play or learn. They also have fun eating snacks and listening to music!
Throughout the 2018-2019 school year, the goal is to give students a new hobby, and teach them new things. Miss Johnson and Mrs. McGarvey hope to carry on this club for years to come.
