Senior Mallarie Maines has been chosen as the Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending 12/15/18. On Saturday the 15th Mallarie Maines helped to lead the rest of her cheer team to a ticket to Hershey for the state cheer competition. The West Branch Cheer Team has relied on Mallarie for many of the complicated stunts that they perform and she has stepped up to the plate all year. “Even though we’re small, we’re mighty,” Mallarie said responding to the how amazing it is that such a small team can accomplish such big things.
