On Saturday, December 15, 2018, it was announced that the cheerleaders made it to the state cheerleading competition.
“I felt overly excited, especially it being my final shot at states as a West Branch Cheerleader!” said senior Mallarie Maines, “I’m extremely excited to see how far we get to make it!” “Once we fix a few things, we will be amazing and definitely ready!” senior Megan Yingling exclaimed.
The PIAA Competitive Cheer Championship is January 11-12, 2019 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
