A longtime West Branch tradition is about to get underway… The Book Fair is coming! If you’re a kid like me who loves to read, the Book Fair is the place to be. No matter what kind of books you like, the Book Fair has something for you. From Junie B. Jones to the Wings of Fire series, and everything in between, the selection is huge. As a student who has attended the Book Fair for almost six years now, I look forward to having such a great selection of books so close to home.
This year’s Book Fair runs Monday, February 4th through Friday, February 8th. Students will have the opportunity to shop during their regularly scheduled library class during the week. Students can also shop with their families on Family Night, Thursday, February 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. For younger kids, Wee Warrior Night will be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. You can also shop online now through February 9th.
As in previous years, students who participated in the Summer R.E.A.D. Challenge have been awarded up to $30 in Book Fair bucks that can be redeemed at the Book Fair. However, Book Fair bucks can only be used for books.
