I would like to acknowledge retired business education teacher Sheila Kovalcin. I met Mrs. Kovalcin towards the end of her amazing career when she graciously allowed me to observe her classroom as I started my new career in education. Years later, she helped me again as I worked on my doctoral dissertation. Mrs. Kovalcin dedicated countless hours to the school and community, and my experience with her was only one small chunk of her life at WB. How many of us have seen Sheila and Joe working in the football concession stand, even after her retirement? I am grateful to have met and worked with this wonderful teacher and family friend. My favorite for so many reasons!
Good memories of her so generously sharing donuts on game days with the football players, band and cheerleaders. Joellen Hunt
Colleen Viehdorfer, Sheila and Joe Kovalcin:
As former senior class advisers, I am ever so grateful for their knowledge and help throughout the years. Each one of them had a love for the students and the school and tried to provide the best possible experiences for the seniors and their families during the last year at The Branch. Their dedication and inspiration has been a driving force behind what I do for the seniors each year. Jen Brickley
