My role-model and, I’m very proud to say, a wonderful friend.

As a high school teacher, she inspired me to want to be in the classroom. She made history fun and entertaining as well as informative. She is a true Warrior at heart as she’s stayed active in the district even after her retirement. As a 4-H leader, she inspired me to be and do my best and to help others along the way. Carlene’s example of generosity and general love of West Branch and of life is truly inspirational to me and many others. Words simply cannot express. Jen Brickley
