On September 19th, Morgan Glace received her 1000th assist, an impressive feat for a Junior. An assist is awarded to a player who attempts to get the ball to a teammate in an effort to score. Morgan is the setter for the Lady Warrior volleyball team and has been working hard to get her hands on the ball to connect with her hitters all season. Along with being a good setter, Morgan is also an impressive server. She has long service runs in almost every game. In several games this year, when the Lady Warriors were down, Morgan got them back in the lead with her tough serves.

Morgan has been with the Lady Warrior Volleyball team since she was in 7th grade. That same year she discovered that she was going to be a setter. From that point on, she has looked to the Penn State Nittany Lions Women’s Volleyball team for inspiration. Her lifelong dream is to one day play for the Lady Lions. Morgan’s favorite part about volleyball is the feeling she gets when her teammates get a kill off of one of her sets. She is also very appreciative of the sport for helping her make lifelong friendships.
