Boy’s Soccer
The Philipsburg Osceola Boys Soccer Team, which contains a mix of West Branch players, finished with a record of 3-12 this season. Kyle Godin, Dalton Kristofits, Jarod Koleno, Conner Blasko, Alex Godin, and Dakota Fetterolf are the members from West Branch. Kyle Godin was unable to play his senior year due to an ACL injury. However, he fulfilled his role as Captain by constantly supporting his team and attending all of the games. Kristofits, Koleno, and Alex Godin each made contributions to the team this year as starters. The team’s biggest win came against conference foe Bellefonte, as they won 2-1 in double-overtime. Alex Godin was the leading scorer for the West Branch players, as he found the back of the net five times. Four of the seniors were from West Branch: Kristofits, Kyle Godin, Koleno, and Blasko. These four will be greatly missed, but The Mounties/Warriors will now look to Alex Godin and Fetterolf to lead the team next season.
