The Veterans Day Breakfast was held on Nov 11 to honor and thank the veterans who protect and serve our country.

Every year on November 11th, West Branch holds a Veterans Day breakfast to thank all of those who have fought to protect and serve our country. Some students and staff helped by serving the delicious food to the veterans and their families. After most people were done eating, the second graders came down to the cafeteria to sing patriotic songs like Yankee Doodle, America the Beautiful, This Land is Your Land, and You’re a Grand Old Flag. A select few second graders from each class read a couple of poems that expressed our thankfulness for veterans. Mr. Carlson, a former Air Force veteran, also read a poem.

On behalf of the Warrior Watch, thank you to all veterans!
