West Branch XC Sweeps Mounties

Sage Carr takes the lead against the Mounties on Monday, October 14th

The West Branch Cross Country team raced Philipsburg in the last home meet of the season during poor running conditions on Monday. Sage Carr won his 3rd race with a personal best time of (18:29) while Joey Trimpey came in third place with a personal best time of (20:39). In a strong showing, the WB boys raced 21-40 against Philipsburg with 8 out of the first 10 WB runners crossing the finish line. The West Branch girls set season-best times on the course against the Lady Mounties. Erika Alexander came in (2nd)  along with Brianna Bone placing (5th). There were a total of 14 female runners.

The West Branch Cross Country team continued their success against  Mo Valley on Wednesday, October 14th defeating the Black Knights 21-38.
