The Lady Warrior soccer team went 3-0 the week of October 4th. Their dedication and work ethic has really shown throughout their season thus far.  Their current record is 11-1.

The Lady Warriors battled Curwensville last Monday at the home of the Golden Tide, winning by only a hair. The Lady Warriors and the Golden Tide were tied at the end of the first half of the game 0-0. The majority of shots in the first half were taken by the offense attack by West Branch on the Lady Tide’s keeper; however, none of the Warriors shots were falling. Going into the second half, the game was still tied 0-0. The Lady Warriors controlled the field, barely allowing Curwensville to have a counter attack. Then at 66:12, Emily Parks scored the single goal of the match, resulting in a win for the Lady Warriors, 1-0.

The team’s second game of the week was away at Northern Bedford, resulting in their second win of the week. The Lady Warriors managed to get two balls in the back of the net during the first half and a single ball in the second half. The final score was 3-0.

The Lady Warriors had their final game of the week last Saturday against Philipsburg Osceola. Again, the Lady Warriors came out of this game with a  3-1 win.

This week, the Lady Warriors will take on Everett, Tussey Mountain and Northern Bedford.
