Lady Warriors Sweep Bishop McCort in District Quarterfinals

The Lady Warriors crushed Bishop McCort in three quick sets on Tuesday evening. Throughout the past week, the team has worked extremely hard at every practice in order to prepare for the big games they would endure this week, including Bishop McCort. The Lady Warriors started the game strong, coming in with tons of energy against the number nine seeded team in District 6. The Lady Warriors swept McCort in the first set with a score of 25-12. They continued the game tough, ending the second and third set with scores of 25-16 and 25-20. 

There were multiple standouts in Tuesday’s game, including seniors Emma Morlock and Taylor Myers with 12 kills each. Senior Ella Miller led the Lady Warriors in service points with 12 and Myers led in aces with 4. Senior Morgan Glace also had 32 assists on the night. Junior Meghan Cantolina led the team in digs achieving 10. Myers and sophomore Kamryn MacTavish added 5 each. The Lady Warriors will advance into District 6 semi-finals on Thursday evening at their home court against 5th seeded Homer-Center.
