Ethan Yingling has been selected as the Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 10/31/20. Yingling was a key part in the Warriors win against the Curwensville Tide last Friday. Late in the game, Ethan came up with a huge interception to seal the victory for the Warriors. West Branch defeated the Tide, 21-14 to improve their record of 3-5 on the year. Yingling plays outside linebacker on the defensive side, as well as left tackle on the offensive side. Ethan has been playing football for four years and has been a starter for four years.

Teammate Will Herring said, “I’ve been playing with Ethan for four years and he has only gotten better. Ethan is the type of guy to come to practice ready to work every single day. He takes no off days because he is always striving to be better. His interception last Friday was one for the record books. Who knows what would’ve happened if he didn’t intercept that football.”
