Homecoming is finally here! The court was announced this morning, Friday, October 8th. The king candidates are Shae Bainey, Noah Fry, Alex Godin, Dean Tingle, and Zack Tiracorda. The queen candidates are Meghan Cantolina, Katyln Folmar, Madison Kephart, Olivia Stavola, and Paige Washic. High school teachers and seniors voted on these candidates. Next week, voting for the king and queen will be held on Wednesday, October 13th. Grades 9-12 will be able to vote. Then Friday, the homecoming pep assembly will be held on the football field, and grades 7-12 will attend. The king will be crowned at the pep assembly. Later that night, the football team will take on Black Lick Valley, and during halftime, the queen will be crowned by last year’s queen, Sarah Betts.
Next week there will be a spirit week leading up to homecoming. The days are as follows:
Monday- NO SCHOOL
Tuesday- Tie-Dye
Wednesday- Pajamas
Thursday- Country wear
Friday- Red, White, and Blue
