Scott Smeal has been selected for Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of 2/05/22. Scott is a sophomore and currently wrestles at 215 pounds for the Warriors. Scott wrestled in the JV mini tournament at the Ultimate Warrior Invitational at the end of January. He went 4-0 while pinning his last 3 opponents in 0:45, 1:49, and 1:30. This outstanding performance for the first year wrestler led him to winning the championship in his weight class.
Fellow teammate Austin Kerin says, “Scott has worked hard all year. He had a knee injury earlier in the year but it hasn’t slowed down any.” In addition, Scott also plays center for the football team.
