Joel Evans has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of 2/12/22. Joel is a freshman, and plays forward for the boys basketball team. Including a team win over Curwensville, Joel played extremely well and had a breakout night for the Warriors. He lit up the stat sheet putting up 18 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals, and 4 blocks.
Teammate Owen Koleno said, “ Joel has been great for us all year. He has no weaknesses on the court and has a great future ahead of him.” With that win over the Golden Tide, the Warriors still remain in the hunt for the playoffs just needing to win their final two games of the regular season against Glendale and St. Joseph.
