The three competing cross country teams get ready at the starting line.

On Thursday, September 30th, the cross-country team competed in a Tri-Meet at Southern Huntingdon. According to junior Sage Carr, this course was easier to run than others that they have endured. The boys defeated Southern Huntingdon 20-33. They also beat Moshannon Valley by a point, but this would not count as they face them again later in the season. Moshannon Valley was at the meet to oppose Southern Huntington. Although the girls are not eligible to place as a team, they still ran hard against their strong opponent, Southern Huntingdon. The win for the boys puts them at 4-0 on the season.

Cross Country’s next meet is against Cambria Heights High School on Monday, October 3rd, at home.
