Female Athlete of the Week: Brielle Bainey

Brielle Bainey has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on 9/29/24. As a key player for the Warriors volleyball team, Bainey is a standout in her role as libero, recording an impressive 131 digs over 19 matches.  She also has 31 aces for the season, with an impressive serving percentage of 88.3%. In addition to her 35 assists, the second-highest on the team, she had 9 digs and had 13 receptions against Curwensville on September 26th.

Teammate Haley Woodling praised Brielle’s leadership, stating, “Brielle is definitely a huge leader on our team. We can all rely on her to dig hard hits and give us opportunities to set something up to score. She’s always hyping up the hitters after we score, and she’s super encouraging. Brielle doesn’t take plays off and is always sacrificing her body to help the team. Brielle’s determination and relentlessness positively impacts our team and contributes to our success.”
