Lindsey Bainey has been chosen as the Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week for the week ending 04/19/2025. At Moshannon Valley, Bainey recorded two hits, one of which was a home run. On senior night against Mount Union, she added two more hits to her growing career total. She is currently batting .438, which is a remarkably high average for a freshman. With 14 hits so far this season, Bainey is looking to add more each game.

As a catcher, Bainey makes tremendous plays that contribute to the team’s success. She keeps the ball in front of her, helping to prevent passed balls from reaching the backstop. She also has a strong arm, capable of picking off runners and earning quick outs to end innings. Junior teammate Cheyanne Bush shared how special Bainey is to the team:  “Lindsey is a very important part of our team. She works really hard, and it shows. She has a huge impact on our wins. She’s very talented and makes amazing plays.”
