On Saturday, December 1st, the West Branch and PO bands joined together in downtown Philipsburg to spread some holiday cheer by performing Christmas carols. The bands played songs such as Jolly Old St. Nicolas, Jingle Bells, O Come Emmanuel, and other holiday classics for the community.
Mrs. Woods, the director of PO’s band, invited the West Branch band to play at their Christmas festival/cookie walk. The band graciously accepted the invitation. They called it, “caroling with our instruments.” The best part of the performances was the reaction from the public. The audience was gracious. They listened attentively with smiles and complimented both bands afterward.
