Despite not being allowed to go to away games, the Warrior Band still got to perform their show the past two Fridays. Following the decision that the band would not travel to away games due to Covid-19 concerns, Mr. Jones decided that the band could have their own show without the football team. During this review the band was able to perform its show “Here Comes the Sun” (including Ascend, House of the Rising Sun, and Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me) in front of all their family and friends. The band also had the opportunity to play their stand tunes on the field along with the cheerleaders doing their cheers. Overall, the band and cheerleaders were very grateful for the opportunity to do what they love. Junior trumpeter Noah Fry said “ I’m happy we did the band review because it gave a lot of members the opportunity to play more than what was originally intended. With only having four home games this year, the schedule was a bit limited at first, so I’m glad the band got this opportunity.” Congratulations to the band and cheerleaders on an amazing performance!
