On Friday, February 2, Isaac Tiracorda joined the prestigious group of 1,000 point scorers at West Branch. Coming into the game, Tiracorda was 24 points away from the 1,000 mark. After 13 points in the first half, he needed just 11 in the second half to reach the mark. Tiracorda ended up getting 16 in the second half, totaling 29 and reaching the milestone. Isaac also leads the team in assists and steals per game and in total. He has averaged about 15 points per game this season as well.
“The whole game meant a lot to me, not only because it was senior night, but because I got the opportunity to accomplish something that I have always dreamed of reaching ever since I began playing this sport,” said Tiracorda.
Isaac and the Warrior Basketball team are back in action in the ICC playoffs on Friday, February 16th, at Claysburg-Kimmel to take on the McConnellsburg Spartans.
