Senior Erin Godin has been selected as the Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 2/9/24. Erin has been a key part of the girls’ basketball team’s success, starting as a guard for the team all season. Last week, she had an outstanding senior night, scoring 10 points including a game-changing three-pointer to end the third quarter. While she did play a huge game offensively, she also shut down the Vikings’ second-leading scorer on the defensive end. Then, on Friday, she played a tough game against Philipsburg-Osceola, scoring 3 points and getting a big goose egg on her forehead after a collision with a PO player. Erin toughed it out, completing the rest of the game wearing a facemask.

Fellow teammate Sarah Guglielmi had some great things to say about Erin. “Erin plays a huge factor in our team’s success. She is always thinking a step ahead, and we can always count on her to make the right play,” Godin hopes to have continued success through the end of the regular season and postseason.
