Jenna Mertz has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week ending on 9/2/2023. The West Branch Lady Soccer team had one of the best season openers that a team could have. The Warriors defeated Clarion Area HS 11-0. Jenna, in particular, showcased her exceptional skills in this game, contributing 4 of the 11 goals scored.
Senior Teammate Erin Godin comments on Jenna playing, saying, “When Jenna is on the field, it feels like we are more calm with the ball. We can always count on her to get the job done.” Even at the Northern Bedford game, she played a pivotal role in scoring 3 out of the 4 goals for the Warriors.
