Jenna Mertz has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of 10/30/23. Jenna is a senior on the Lady Warrior soccer team at West Branch. Her position is a fast left wing but that can be flexible if needed. With her season coming to a close, she has had an outstanding year. She ended the season with two new broken records. Jenna now holds the record for number of goals scored in a single season. She also broke the record for the career goals scored in history for West Branch the second to last game of her senior year. Both of these records were previously held by Trinity Prestash. Jenna’s teammate Ciara Condon says, “Jenna has always been a really strong player on and off the field. She brings so much positive energy to the team. When Jenna has lots of energy and is in a good mood that carries over to the rest of the team too!”
