Jenna Mertz has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week ending on 1/5/24. Jenna is a senior captain of the Lady Warrior basketball team. She is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 17 points per game. She also leads the team in rebounds, with 4.4 per game. Jenna had just reached 1,000 points in her high school career recently. She cashed a three-pointer against Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy to pick up the 1,000-point mark. Although they would go on to lose the game, Jenna scored 21 points to end the game. 

Senior teammate Ally Shingledecker says the team looks to her when going through a dry spell on offense. “As her teammate, she is always who I’m looking to pass it to when I need an outlet.”
