Male Athlete of the Week: Owen Koleno

Owen Koleno has steadily contributed to the Warrior football team as the tight end.

Senior Owen Koleno was selected as Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on 10/13/24. Koleno plays on the West Branch Warrior Football team where he serves as a tight end during offense and safety on defense. Koleno has been a key player for the team and in his most recent game against the Glendale Vikings he contributed an interception. Koleno has a record of 125 receiving yards for the season and averages 7.8 yards per catch. Koleno has also contributed 11 total tackles for the Warriors. One of his teammates, Coby Kephart, commented,” Owen is a key contributor on offense and defense. He stepped up to play defense a couple of weeks ago, and I think that shows the type of person he is.”
