Female Athlete of the Week: Ashley Causer

Playing two sports this fall season, Ashley has been a steady contributor to the Lady Warrior soccer team and consistently improved her times during the cross-country season.

Ashley Causer has been selected for Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on 10/26/24. She participates in girl’s soccer and cross country and is exceeding in both of them. She is a freshman this year and has a total of 2 goals and 5 points. Causer scored the game-winning goal to win 1-0 against McConnellsburg on October, 19th. For cross country, at the ICC meet she took 5th place and got 24th out of 100 in the District 6 meet. Junior Natalie Yingling says, “She is a very good and athletic soccer player, she really plays a big role with our team. Her shooting is amazing and she is overall an amazing girl with a sweet attitude.” Causer has closed both seasons after the girls’ soccer team fell to Bishop Guilfoyle 3-0 in the District 6 Championship game on Wednesday, October 30th.
