Senior Owen Koleno has been selected as the Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 2/8/2025. During a recent game against the Curwensville Golden Tide, Koleno led the Warriors by scoring 31 points. Koleno has continued to lead the team in points all year and is now the second all-time scorer in West Branch basketball history. Defensively, Koleno is averaging 2 steals per game. Head coach Danny Clark commented, “Owen can put the team on his back when we need it. He can beat you from the outside and inside. He refuses to lose, and the team follows his lead on that.”
Koleno and the Warriors will take on the North Star Cougars in the ICC semi-final game on Friday night at Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
