West Branch kicker and Soccer player Kyle Godin has been selected as the Warrior Watch‘s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 10/14/18. Kyle went 7-7 on Extra-Point attempts during Friday’s win at Williamsburg, and also scored a goal this past week for the PO Mountie soccer team. Godin has missed just one kick since the Warrior’s opening week win at Philipsburg, an extra-point against Everett. He is 2-2 for field goals on the year, his longest being from 37-yards. Kyle has also scored two goals on the year for the Mountie soccer team.
“I decided to play football because I knew that if I could maintain a good GPA while playing two sports in one season, I would have an increased chance to get into better colleges,” Godin said.
