West Branch running back/linebacker Derek Yingling has been selected as the Warrior Watch‘s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 10/20/18. Yingling broke Terry Schake’s single-season rushing record during last week’s triple-overtime loss to Northern Bedford. Derek now has rushed for over 1600 yards on the season. Derek scored 4 touchdowns, had an interception on defense, and recorded many tackles on Friday night. Yingling is the first athlete to receive the Warrior Watch Athlete of the Week recognition more than once.
