Female Athlete of the Week

Megan Yingling has been selected as the Warrior Watch‘s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 1/26/19. Yingling cheered for the West Branch basketball athletes, as well as the wrestling team during their annual tournament this week. Megan is very committed to supporting each and every West Branch athlete. The West Branch cheer team also counts on Yingling for working hard so she can help improve the team’s performance. They have recognized what a big part of the team Megan is.

“My favorite part about cheering in that even though we have a small team, we push through everything to make us even better,” Megan said.

Sports She Plays: Cheerleading

Siblings: Ethan, Carter, and Reed Yingling

Future Plans: To become a registered nurse and work in the hospital

Favorite Hobby Outside of Sports: 4-H (raising animals for the Clearfield County Fair) and playing different instruments in band

Favorite Food: Pizza Hut

Favorite Memory of Cheer: How WB cheerleading qualified for the PIAA Cheerleading State Championships with only seven girls
