Doug Kolesar has been selected as the Warrior Watch‘s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 3/31/19. Kolesar went 5-9 at the plate in the first three games of the season against Claysburg-Kimmel, Williamsburg, and Bellwood-Antis. Doug also came on in relief against Claysburg and threw five innings in a loss. Doug has been a key asset for the Warriors early on, and played a big role on the team as a freshman last season.
“I play baseball because I believe it is what my pap always wanted me to do. Also, the game just relaxes me. Even the smell of the dirt can make me feel at home,” said Kolesar.
