Female Athlete of the Week

Sarah Betts has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 9/15/19. She is being recognized for her outstanding play in a close 0-1 loss to Northern Bedford on the 10th. In addition, she made multiple key saves at goal that led to a 2-1 win at Thursday’s game against the Black Knight’s of Moshannon Valley.  On a few occasions, Sarah had to dive to help preserve the win. In all, Sarah works really hard to keep the Lady Warrior soccer team on the path to the district title.

Sarah has been playing soccer since she was 5. She says that her favorite thing about playing soccer is being on a team with all of her friends. Her goal for this year is to make it to districts and win!

Parents: Dan and Sue Betts

Future Plans: Go to college and become a physical therapist.

Favorite Hobby: Chilling with her pals

Fun Fact:  Sarah is only the second girl in WB’s history to play on the Varsity football team!
