Ashley Mertz has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 12/15/19. Ashley has put up two double-doubles in the past two games, scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds against Curwensville and 17 points and 15 rebounds against Moshannon Valley. Being the only senior, Ashley is the leader of her team.
Ashley has been playing basketball since she was in 5th grade. She plays both the power forward and center positions. Ashley’s goals for this season are for her team to be successful and to stay healthy throughout the course of the season.
