As the 2019-2020 basketball season rolls around, the varsity Lady Warriors are ready to get back in action. After coming off of a tough 6-16 season last year, the girls must work on improving and building a new team. Due to losing five seniors, this year’s team is young and consists of nine players. However, there are two-letter winners returning, Ashley Mertz and Sarah Betts. So far, the team has had scrimmages against St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Purchase Line, and Bedford. The girls’ first game is December 9th at Curwensville High School, @ 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Warriors are lead by head coach Justin Koleno, and assistant coach Mariah McDowell. There are many goals that the team is striving for, and they are excited to see what this season will hold for them.
