Will Herring has been selected as the Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 9/26/20. Herring came up huge for the team last Friday against the Mount Union Trojans. He gave the Warriors two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving. In spite of his great effort, the Warriors still fell short to the Trojans 21-20. Herring plays running back for West Branch on the offensive end, and he plays linebacker for the defensive end. Herring has been playing football for 4 years.

“Will is a tremendous athlete.  He can do so many things on the field and he does them well.  He runs the ball, catches the ball, and blocks at a high level.  Defensively, he is just as versatile.  He can stop the run and cover the pass.  He always finds himself around the ball and will be at the top or near the top when the season is over in terms of tackles,” said head coach Kevin Hubler.
