In order to honor the hard work that the class of 2021 has put into both school and extracurriculars, a senior is appreciated weekly by the Warrior Watch staff. For the week ending 12/20/20, Ella Miller has been chosen as the female nominee.

Ella plays a number of sports here at West Branch including: volleyball, basketball, indoor soccer, and track. Ella has had multitudes of success throughout her sports career. Most recently, helping the lady warrior volleyball team reach the District 6 semi-final game this year. Ella is also a four-year veteran of volleyball. Ella does like to do other things than her four sports, like spending time with her family and friends. Ella also participates in dance and has danced for 12 years.

Ella also gets some of her volleyball skills from her older sister Rebecca. Miller says Rebecca is her role model. Ella watched her older sister smash school records and got inspired to work as hard as her sister had in high school.

Ella has taken a positive look on COVID-19. The pandemic made Ella and her volleyball teammates feel like every game is their last. Which gaves them a helpful drive all the way to the semi-final.

Ella’s plans for the future are to attend Clarion University and become a psych nurse.
