Tory Kalke has been chosen as the Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the week for the week of 2/7/2021.
Tory Kalke, a junior on the West Branch girls basketball team, has been a huge advantage to the team this season. Especially this past week in their games against Mount Union, Bellwood, Glendale, and Bellefonte. According to Kalke’s teammates, she is a fantastic rebounder, a great teammate, and never lets any of her fellow teammates down.
“Tory is always a threat to have a big game shooting. She has found a niche on the team as an outside shooter and a rebounder and continues to expand her game,” says WB girl’s basketball head coach Justin Koleno.
Last week, Tory truly stood out with her outstanding performances. In the team’s fight against Glendale, she put up two three-pointers, which gave the team more energy and hope as the game dwindled down. Kalke has proven her talent this season thus far and will continue to do so as it comes to an end.
