Mercedes Nearhood has been chosen for Warrior Watch’s Female Senior Spotlight. Mercedes is a highly intelligent and accomplished student here at West Branch Area High School. She is involved in many of the activities, clubs, and extracurricular activities that West Branch has to offer including band, drama, and the National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Mercedes works at the local restaurant Key Largos, loves to bake, and enjoys playing Minecraft. She also says that she loves sleeping, plants, mac and cheese, and spending time with her friends and family.
Upon graduating with the Class of 2021 on June 4th, Mercedes will further her education at Slippery Rock University in order to study social work. Mercedes, the Warrior Watch staff wishes you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
