Alex Godin has been selected as the Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending 9/18/2021. Godin was chosen due to his performance in last Monday’s game, as he scored six goals, breaking the record for most goals scored in a single game. He was also chosen due to his consistent positive contribution offensively and defensively for the varsity soccer team.
Godin is a captain on the varsity and has been a leader on the team for several years. He plays attacking-midfielder and controls the offensive success and passing for the Mounties. One of Godin’s teammates, Matt Erich said, “he (Godin) is the guy at practice and games that wants to outwork everyone on the field.” Godin also plays for a competitive travel soccer team and plays soccer year-round.
